Section 01
Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "Student," or "Parent/Guardian") and PRAJNANAM E-Pathsala ("we," "us," or "our"), an educational coaching institute.
By visiting our website, creating an account, submitting an enrollment form, or making a payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.
These Terms are effective from April 1, 2026 and apply to all users of our website and services.
Section 02
Our Services
PRAJNANAM E-Pathsala provides the following services:
- Offline classroom coaching for Class 10 and Class 12 (Arts stream) at our physical institute
- Online enrollment and registration through our website at your convenience
- Online fee payment processed securely through Razorpay (a payment gateway)
- Student portal: A secure online dashboard to view your enrollment status, course details, and enrollment number
- Communication services: Email and OTP-based alerts for enrollment confirmations, schedule changes, and important notices
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time with reasonable prior notice, except where circumstances beyond our control (such as force majeure events) require immediate action.
Section 03
Eligibility
To use our services and enroll in courses, you must:
- Be a student currently studying in Class 10 or Class 12, or seeking admission to these classes in the current or upcoming academic year
- Provide accurate, complete, and truthful personal and academic information at the time of registration
- If you are under 18 years of age, have the prior consent of a parent or legal guardian, who must also accept these Terms on your behalf
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement (or have a parent/guardian do so on your behalf)
We reserve the right to refuse enrollment or cancel an existing enrollment if any information provided is found to be false, misleading, incomplete, or in violation of these Terms.
Section 04
Account Registration & Security
When you register on our website, you create a student account using your name, phone number, email address, and a password. By creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information and keep it updated
- Keep your login credentials (email and password) strictly confidential
- Not share your account with any other person under any circumstances
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
Your password is stored as a one-way cryptographic hash. We cannot recover it β only reset it via email OTP. If you forget your password, use the "Forgot Password" option on the login page.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be shared, misused, operated by banned users attempting re-registration, or used in violation of these Terms.

Creating multiple accounts to misuse the platform is prohibited and will result in permanent removal from our services.

Fees & Payment Terms

Secure Online Payments via Razorpay
All online payments are processed by Razorpay Payments Private Limited β a payment gateway compliant with RBI guidelines. PRAJNANAM does not store your card number, CVV, or bank credentials.
Fee Structure:
- Course fees are displayed clearly on the enrollment page before you initiate payment
- Fees are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR)
- The fee displayed at the time of enrollment is the final amount payable; no hidden charges are added
- We reserve the right to revise fees for new academic batches with at least 15 days' advance notice. Existing enrolled students will not face mid-session fee changes without written consent
Payment Methods Accepted Online:
- UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM UPI, and all UPI apps)
- Debit Card / Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay)
- Net Banking
- EMI (subject to availability from your bank β governed by your bank's terms)
Offline Payment: Cash payments can be made directly at the institute against a manual receipt. Offline enrollments are processed by admin staff and do not require an online account.
Payment Confirmation: Upon successful online payment, your enrollment status will be activated immediately and you will receive a confirmation email with your Enrollment Number and details. Please retain this for your records.
Failed Transactions: If your payment fails but your bank account is debited, please contact us within 48 Hours. We will coordinate with Razorpay to resolve the issue. Refunds for failed transactions are processed within 5β10 working days back to the original payment source.

To request a refund, email us at the address in Section 14 with the subject line "Refund Request β [Your Name] β [Enrollment Number]" and include your transaction reference. Refunds are processed exclusively to the original payment method β we do not issue refunds by cash or bank transfer to a different account.

Non-Refundable Items
Fees paid for printed study materials, or any issued physical resources are non-refundable once issued or dispatched, regardless of enrollment status.
Section 07
Attendance, Conduct & Discipline
Attendance:
- Regular attendance is expected of all enrolled students
- A minimum attendance of 75% may be required to sit for internal assessments or examinations
- Students are responsible for covering missed content. Faculty are not obligated to repeat lessons for individual absent students
- Extended absences (more than 5 consecutive days) must be communicated to the institute in advance with a valid reason
Code of Conduct:
- Students must treat faculty, staff, and fellow students with respect at all times β inside the classroom, on institute premises, and in any online interactions related to PRAJNANAM
- Mobile phones must be on silent mode during class. Disruption of classes through phone calls, social media usage, or noise is not permitted
- Cheating, plagiarism, or any form of dishonesty during internal tests or assessments will result in cancellation of that assessment with a zero score
- Bullying, harassment, ragging, discrimination based on caste, gender, religion, or any other ground is strictly prohibited and will be treated as a serious disciplinary offence
Disciplinary Action: The institute reserves the right to issue formal warnings, suspend from classes, or terminate enrollment (without refund in cases of serious violations) for repeated or severe breaches of the code of conduct. Decisions of the institute's management in disciplinary matters shall be final.
Section 08
Intellectual Property
All content published on the PRAJNANAM E-Pathsala website and provided in classrooms β including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, study materials, handwritten notes, question papers, test series, and course content β is the intellectual property of PRAJNANAM E-Pathsala and is protected under applicable Indian copyright law (Copyright Act, 1957).
- Students may use course materials solely for their own personal study and exam preparation
- You may not reproduce, photocopy, scan, distribute, share, sell, publish, or upload our materials to any platform β online or offline β without prior written permission from PRAJNANAM E-Pathsala
- Recording of classroom sessions (audio, video, screen capture) without the explicit permission of the faculty and institute management is strictly prohibited
- Unauthorized sharing of our materials on social media, WhatsApp groups, Telegram channels, or any online platform will be treated as a violation of these Terms and applicable intellectual property law, and may result in legal action
Section 09
Prohibited Conduct
When using our website and services, you must not:
- Provide false, misleading, or incomplete information during registration, enrollment, or any communication with us
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, databases, or admin panel
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, decompile, or tamper with our website, server, or any backend systems
- Use automated tools to access or harvest data from our website
- Impersonate another student, a faculty member, or any institute staff member
- Attempt to make fraudulent payments, initiate bad-faith chargebacks, or exploit payment gateway vulnerabilities
- Use our platform for any unlawful, defamatory, abusive, or offensive purpose
- Attempt to circumvent a ban or account suspension by creating new accounts
- Share, sell, or transfer your account access or login credentials to any third party
Violations may result in immediate account suspension, permanent ban from our services, reporting to relevant authorities, and civil or criminal legal action under applicable Indian law, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Indian Penal Code.
Section 10
Disclaimer of Warranties
Our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive for excellence in teaching and reliable operation of our website, we make no warranty or guarantee that:
- The website will be available 100% of the time without interruption, downtime, or technical errors
- Any specific academic results, Board exam scores, or marks will be achieved by any student as a result of enrolling with us
- All content published on the website is free of typographic or factual errors at all times
Academic outcomes depend on a student's own effort, regularity, dedication, and individual aptitude. We commit to providing the best possible teaching and support, but we do not guarantee any specific outcome, rank, or score.
Section 11
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under applicable Indian law, PRAJNANAM E-Pathsala, its directors, faculty, staff, and associates shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, our services
- Loss of data due to technical failures, server downtime, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control
- Delays or disruptions to services caused by force majeure events β including but not limited to natural disasters, floods, government orders, bandhs, internet outages, or pandemics
- Actions, errors, or omissions of third-party service providers (Razorpay, Gmail, hosting providers, etc.)
- Academic outcomes, Board exam results, or marks achieved or not achieved by any student
- Any loss arising from a student's own violation of these Terms
In any event, our maximum aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the total fee amount actually paid by you for the specific course enrollment in question.
Section 12
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.
- Step 1 β Direct Resolution: Any dispute, grievance, or complaint shall first be communicated in writing to us (see Section 14). We will endeavor to resolve it within 30 days of receiving your written complaint.
- Step 2 β Mediation: If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, both parties shall attempt resolution through a mutually agreed, independent mediator before proceeding to legal action.
- Step 3 β Jurisdiction: If mediation fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Tezpur, Assam, India.
Consumer disputes related to fee payments are also governed by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and you may file a complaint with the appropriate District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.
Section 13
Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, operations, or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
- Notify registered users via email at least 7 days before changes take effect (for material changes)
- Post a prominent notice on our website
Your continued use of our services after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you disagree with the changes, you may request account deletion and, if eligible, a refund under Section 6.
